About Us...

I started with daylilies in 2001 after purchasing a new house. My wife and I wanted some flowers that could tolerate six hours of afternoon sun. A friend of mine mentioned daylilies, and boy, was that a mistake!!! I traveled to a local farm, Bethany Gardens , and was blown away by the number of daylilies. I could not believe the prices, and I thought these people were crazy!

Two weeks later, I traveled to Jack Carpenter's, The Lily Farm. If you have never been to Jack's, then you don't know what you are missing, four acres of pure heaven to a daylily enthusiast. That year I went back two more times, and now I only buy newer daylilies and visit Jack's regularly. I recommend to everyone I meet to visit The Lily Farm and see Jack and Josie. They are the best!
